+ His hearty laugh was heart warming as always and enabled her to relax just enough to allow her pride a chance to drift off . It was a needed occurence, as otherwise she might’ve snapped at him for trying to teach her how to play the game. It was after all, a prideful competition, and she hated more than anything the feeling of being incompetent.
Observing all his actions she scrutinized his arms with watchful eyes. With each detail his smooth baritone produced for her attentive ears she replied with a nod to indicate that she understood. He was, after all someone well known in the idol world as being a pro athlete. Basketball especially something he was talented at. This was for sure something she could gain from him in terms of knowledge. Who was to say that in the future of her career as an idol she would not have a need for such skills?
“So one hand under the ball…my non dominant hand…” She murmured with a soft nod cascading her waves of auburn hair around her shoulders. It was true that for her age she was rather small, and it was one of her many complexes. “Listen here oppa! I might be tiny but I’m not a little kid! You’re only two years senior to me.” she retorted with a small scowl crossing her pert little nose as she snatched the ball back from him. His instructions flashed across her mind for an instance before she smoothly applied them, and landed the ball through the hoop successfully.
—— Minho couldn’t help but laugh at her retort, having expected it of course, even though it was a little blunder on his part, he figured he deserved the little banter. He let her take the ball, making him raise his hands in joking defense, a smile on his face throughout. “Alright, alright, you got it, two year junior,” he teased on with a small salute gesture of his hand from his forehead before laughing once more. Minho turned his head to keep an eye on her turn this time, though with the successful result, perhaps Minho was a little too excited. His jaw dropped before a large grin replaced his surprise, turning to the younger with his arms spread widely. “You did it, yes! Who’s the master coach?” he laughed excitedly, bouncing around for a moment before petting the other’s back in congratulations. “You’re doing well, though.. I’m at least 238 points ahead of you,” he laughed softly, “Should I wait?” he asked teasingly.
