Joon doesn’t work like that, unfortunately. Anxiety is something so inherent, so strong in him- once it takes over, it’s there to stay. It changes everything, even down to his physical appearance. It triggers his invisibility, that is. But he’s trying not to let it get to him now; he doesn’t want to freak out this kind stranger, doesn’t want to go ham on him. There’s no easy way to explain why he suddenly vanishes from view- it’s just best that he doesn’t do it at all.
“I need a smoke,” he rasps instead, sitting down on the curb to avoid having his legs give out beneath him. Why did he have to come to the river alone and get tipsy? Getting drunk is a sure way to get emotional. Shit. “Do you have any? I need a smoke. It’ll… It’ll make me feel better.” He doesn’t carry cigarettes with him anymore, not after giving them up for his e-cig, but the effect is just not the same with the device. He wants an actual cigarette. Maybe givingh him one will comfort this guy, too. Make him feel useful.
` 최⁹¹ . Minho looked over at the stranger he happened to have met so suddenly, not looking too hot. Even though he didn’t know this person, the way he seemed had Minho concerned enough to want to comfort him; was it dangerous? Absolutely. Did that bother Minho? Not even a little.
“ Hey, be careful blinked as the other took to the curb, almost reaching out to grab him, mistaking him for falling, though he had seated himself there, leaving Minho following him loyally to his side, head tilting down at the other; he smelt of alcohol, but that was probably way too easy of a conclusion. “ A smoke? “ he repeated, staring for a moment as he thought before he reached to pull his bag from his back; he actually did carry around a packet of cigarettes. Now, he never used to smoke, not before his movie premiere where his character had to smoke; he couldn’t stop smoking after recording for a month and a half. It was too addictive.
Usually when others smoked, he advised them not to, but he knew the struggle himself, and it wasn’t easy to quit. “ Here, you can have these, I don’t need them anymore, “ he said, giving the other an almost full packed of smokes, save for the ones he had months ago. Probably good to let go of them, anyways; was it bad to pass them off to another knowing they were bad? He wondered, suddenly.
“ Can I get you some water too? There’s a convenience store over there, I think you need to clear your head a little, my friend. “
